My partner and I had helped win the Bloomberg AOR account for JWT with the simple yet powerful idea, "First" -- one word that conveys an entire culture of professionals who rely on Bloomberg's data to win at business.
We worked on the brand for almost two years, developing the brand voice and look with each assignment, spanning everything from valuation software to Charlie Rose. This copy-driven Now you’re awake campaign for their morning news was my favorite campaign of the bunch, as it stayed true to the idea of getting up and getting to work first. You know you have a solid idea when it’s fun to keep at it.
